Terms & conditions of sale
Last updated 24 October 2026
These terms apply to every quote we give and every order we accept. Please read them before you approve a quote. If anything is unclear, call us on 02922 520395 or email [email protected].
1. About us
We are Duggan Group Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 12538672, VAT no. 353637978). Our registered office is 7 Bryngolwg, Croespenmaen, Caerphilly, Wales, NP11 3AJ. In these terms “we”, “us” and “our” mean Duggan Group Ltd, and “you” means the business or organisation placing the order.
2. Business customers only
We supply branded merchandise to businesses and organisations, and every product has a minimum order quantity. By asking for a quote or placing an order, you confirm that you are buying for business purposes and not as a consumer.
3. Quotes and prices
- Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date shown on them. After that, prices may change because our suppliers’ prices change.
- Our prices are all-in: the product, printing, setup and delivery to one address on the UK mainland. Prices are in pounds sterling and exclude VAT, which is added at the current rate.
- “From” prices on our website are a guide, based on the largest quantity and simplest print option. Your quote shows the actual price for what you’ve asked for.
- A quote is based on the details you give us (product, colour, print, quantity, artwork and delivery). If any of these change, the price may change, and we’ll send you a new quote.
4. Placing an order and payment
- You place an order by approving our quote online or in writing. We may decline an order, for example if a product is no longer available, in which case we’ll tell you and refund anything you’ve paid.
- Payment in full is due before production starts. You can pay by bank transfer or by card using the payment link on your invoice. Nothing goes into production until your payment has cleared.
5. Artwork and proofs
- Artwork for print must be vector artwork, supplied as a PDF, AI or EPS file. If you don’t have vector artwork, we can vectorise your logo for £30 + VAT. This is added to your quote and invoice and paid upfront with your order. You receive the vector files for your records, and we keep a copy for your future orders.
- Before anything is produced, we send you a free visual proof showing your artwork on the product. A visual proof is a guide to position and size; it is not an exact representation of the finished colours.
- It is your responsibility to check every detail of the proof, including spelling, wording, layout, size, position and colours, before you approve it.
- Production starts only once you have approved the proof in writing. We are not responsible for any mistake that appears on a proof you have approved.
6. Changes and cancellations
- You can change or cancel your order free of charge at any time before you approve the proof. If you’ve already paid, we’ll refund you in full.
- Once you have approved the proof and production has been authorised, your order can’t be changed or cancelled, because the items are made to order with your branding.
7. Colours and print
- Printed colours can vary slightly from how they look on screen or in a proof, especially when printing onto coloured products, where the product colour affects the ink.
- Full colour (digital) printing uses CMYK inks, so an exact Pantone match isn’t possible. We always aim to get as close as we can.
- For spot colour printing, please give us your Pantone references. Small differences in colour, or in the position of the print, are normal in branded merchandise and are not a fault.
8. Quantities
Printed and breakable items (mugs in particular) can occasionally be delivered slightly over or under the quantity ordered. A delivery within 5% of the quantity ordered counts as completing your order. We never charge for extra items.
9. Lead times and delivery
- Lead times are estimates that run from proof approval and payment. They aren’t guaranteed unless we have agreed a fixed delivery date with you in writing.
- Express production or delivery may be possible; please ask and we’ll confirm what we can do for your order.
- Once your order has been dispatched, delivery is in the courier’s hands, and we can’t be responsible for courier delays. Please allow plenty of time before an event or deadline.
- Delivery to one address on the UK mainland is included. Deliveries to more than one address, to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, offshore locations or outside the UK are quoted separately.
- Please make sure someone is available to receive the delivery. Responsibility for the goods passes to you when they are delivered.
10. If something is wrong with your order
- Please check your order as soon as it arrives. Tell us about any damage, shortage or printing fault within 5 working days of delivery, with photos of the problem.
- We’ll raise it with the production team who made your items. They will investigate, and may ask for more photos or for samples to be returned. Please keep the goods until the claim is settled.
- Where a fault is confirmed, the remedy will be a reprint, replacement, or a full or partial refund of the affected items, depending on the problem. We’ll keep you updated throughout.
- This doesn’t cover anything shown on a proof you approved, or the normal colour and quantity variations described in sections 7 and 8.
11. Samples
- Plain (unprinted) samples are available for many products. Depending on the supplier, they may be free or there may be a delivery charge.
- Printed samples are charged, and the cost includes the full setup (origination) fee, so they can be expensive. For larger orders we may, at our discretion, deduct the cost of a printed sample from the order if you go ahead.
12. Your logo and artwork
- By sending us a logo or artwork, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it on merchandise, and that it doesn’t infringe anyone else’s rights. You agree to cover any claims, costs or losses we suffer if it does.
- We may refuse to print anything we consider offensive, unlawful or likely to infringe someone else’s rights.
13. Our liability
- Our total liability to you for any order is limited to the price you paid for that order.
- We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, such as loss of profit, loss of business, or costs arising from goods arriving after an event.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
14. Things outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as supplier or courier problems, severe weather, strikes, shortages of materials or equipment failure. If this happens, we’ll let you know as soon as we can and agree the next steps with you.
15. Your information
We use your details to deal with your quote and order. Our privacy policy explains how we look after your information.
16. General
- These terms, together with your approved quote, are the whole agreement between us. If they conflict, what is written on your approved quote takes priority.
- We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website when you approve a quote is the one that applies to that order.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
